Cancer

What is cancer? It is actually a group of more than one hundred separate diseases. Most of us are fear from cancer It is reasonable because next to heart disease, cancer is the second leading cause of death.

Cancer cells come from normal cells because of mutations of DNA. Those mutations can occur spontaneously. The mutations may be also induced by other factors such as: nuclear and electromagnetic radiation, viruses, bacteria and fungi, parasites, heat, chemicals in the air, water and food, mechanical cell-level injury, free radicals, evolution and ageing of DNA, etc. All such factors can produce mutations that may start cancer.

Cancer cells are formed continuously in the organism. It is estimated that there are about 10,000 cancer cells at any given time in a healthy person. Why do some result in macroscopic-level cancers and some do not? First, not all damaged cells can multiply and many of them die quickly. Second, those which potentially divide and form cancer are effectively destroyed by the mechanisms available to the immune system. Therefore cancer develops if the immune system is not working properly or the amount of cells produced is too great for the immune system to eliminate.

My opinion: Cancer is a dangerous disease. It can cause death. From what I know, Cancer has no cure. So, to prevent it, we must keep our healt. Be carefull with what we eat, keep our environtment clean, keep our adequate rest, and don't smoke.

Using Mobile Phone at School

Many teachers are against students having mobile phones in schools and some others don’t really mind. Having a mobile phone at school has some advantages and some disadvantages.

Some of the advantages are that if you are sick you can call your parents without needing to go to the main office wait for some minutes and after that to call them. Another possibility is that sometimes if students don’t have games because of the bad weather there used to be a line at the main office with students waiting to call their parents to come and get them earlier. Nowadays no one goes to the main office to call his or her parents. Also in “emergencies” students can call for help faster than going to the nearest building to find a telephone and call for help.

Some disadvantages are that students send messages or even call with other students during the lesson and that distracts them from the lesson. Also some times students forget to put their phones in silence or close them and when they get a message an annoying sound in made which can disturb the whole class. Some students use their mobile phones to cheat in tests or bully with messages.

Recommendation : Bring mobile phone at school should be allowed if the students can use it at the right place and the right time.

My opinion is that mobile phones should be allowed to be brought to school but only be used in breaks or emergencies. Also if a student is caught using his mobile phone during the lesson he should be seriously punished and an even worse punishment should be given to students caught cheating with mobile phones.

Our Brain

WE GROW UP BECAUSE WE SEE, HEAR, SPEAK, AND LEARN!

Coba Perhatikan

Suatu waktu pasti aku lelah
Suatu hari aku pasti jatuh
Dan  suatu saat aku pasti akan mengerti
Mengapa tak ada seorang pun di sini
Hingga nanti aku pahami
Kerasnya hidup yang aku jalani

Bagiku,
Perjalanan adalah proses pembangunan
Dimana ada batu, paku, dan besi
Pasir ibarat hujatan yang menghujani
Tapi lihatlah nanti
Perhatikan apa yang terjadi
Ingat-ingatlah apa yang tercipta di sini

OBAT KUAT

Soal kerasnya kehidupan
Tentang rumitnya sebuah hubungan
Keluarga, masyarakat, bahkan pasangan
Betapa sulitnya menjaga rasa

Ketika semua orang saling memaki
Hanya karena sebuah perbedaan
Biarkan kami berdiam diri
Bukannya kami tak peduli
Bukankah kita harus saling menghargai?
Tapi tak banyak orang mengerti
Bahkan lebih banyak yang tak tahu diri

Dimana toleransi?
Apakah hidup kan selalu begini?
Saling menghina, saling menghujat
Sedikit aspirin mungkin menghilangkan penat
Walau pikiran masih terasa berat
Tapi laju otak takkan pernah terhambat

Jenny - 120

tentang benda-benda yang engkau punya
dan engkau banggakan
tentang gaya hidup yang kau kenakan
dan bahkan kini kau tuhankan

tentang kekinian yang selalu saja kau bicarakan
tentang status dan posisi tawarmu
di penglihatan orang-orang

jangan harap itu bisa
mengesankanku dan menjatuhkanku

atas nama dunia yang engkau pikir
telah dan selamanya akan kau genggam...

tentang nama besar yang kau sandang
dan engkau busungkan
tentang seberapa pintar dan cemerlangmu
di penglihatan orang-orang

tentang satu dua tiga peperangan
yang pernah kau menangkan
kalimat menjatuhkan yang jadi sering
engkau ucapkan kau hujamkan

jangan harap itu bias mempercepatmu dan mengejarku..

atas nama dunia yang engkau pikir telah kau punya
atas nama dunia yang engkau kira
telah dan selamanya akan kau genggam

120 sekian
dan masih kan menambah
kecepatan, kecepatan
dan tak akan bisa terkejar

jangan harap itu bisa
mengesankanku dan menjatuhkanku
atas nama dunia yang engkau pikir
telah kau punya
atas nama dunia yang engkau kira
telah dan selamanya akan kau genggam...

120 sekian
dan masih kan menambah kecepatan

SLEEPING BEAUTY

Once upon a time, there was a Queen who had a beautiful baby daughter. She asked all the fairies in the kingdom to the christening, but she forgot to invite one of them. A witch came anyway, and said to the baby, “When you are sixteen, you will injure yourself with a spindle and die!” Then, a good fairy quickly chanted a magic spell to change the curse. When she hurt herself, the girl would fall into a very deep sleep instead of dying.
The years went by, the little Princess grew and became a beautiful girl. The Queen was always very carefull to keep her from spindles. But when she was sixteen years old, she wandered through the castle and found a room where and old servant was spinning. The Princess saw the spindle and she pricked herself with it then dropped to the floor.
The old woman hurried to tell the Queen. The Queen did her best to awaken her daughter but in vain. The doctors and wizard were called, but they could not do anything. The Princess could not wakened from her deep sleep. The good fairy said that “love” was the only one which made her awaken.
The sleeping Princess was taken to her room and laid on the bed. She was so beautiful. The good fairy worried if there’s no one beside the girl when she awaken. So the fairy made all of in the castle fell into a deep sleep. “When the Princess wakes up, they will awaken too, and life will go on from there,” thought the fairy. And she left the castle, now wrapped in silence.
The years past. In the ground of the castle, the trees grew tall. The bushes became thick and straggling, the grass spreaded up the walls on the courtyards. In a hundred years, the dense forest grew up.
A Prince arrived in these parts. He was the son of a king in the kingdom in a country close by. Young and handsome. He was wandering on his trusty steed. One day, he arrived at the dark forest. A few hours later, he could see something through the trees. He pushed back the brances and he saw a castle with high tower in front of him. He went there and found the people. He thought that they dead. But in a moment, he realised that they were sound asleep. “Wake up! Wake up!” he shouted but nobody moved. He walked around the castle and he found the room where the Princess lay fast asleep. For a long time, he looked at her face and he fell in love with her. He went close, lifted the girl’s little white hand and gently kissed it.

At that kiss, the princess quickly opened her eyes. The spell was broken. And all of the people in the castle woke up too. The Princess happier than ever. Finally, the Prince and the Princess get married. They lived happily ever after.

Moral value: Be a good mother, keep our children. Especially our daughter.
